Ovalhouse's 33% Company return with an evocative piece written by Rory Mullarkey, and Directed by Toby Clarke as part of National Theatre Connections 2012. The Grandfathers combines movement and puppetry to explore the comradeship and loneliness of teenage conscripts in a futile war.

Ted Riley
Since leaving college, Ted has performed with the South London Theatre (Entertaining Mr.Sloane), The Red Ladder Theatre Company in Leeds (Theatre Uncut), The City Lit Theatre Company (A Christmas Carol) and also appeared in The Hammersmith Lyric's Christmas Pantomime Aladdin. He is currently attending a one year foundation course at city lit college and is hoping to do a further three years of accredited training. This is his first show at Oval House.
Ria Zmitrowicz
Ria trained with the National Youth Theatre performing in Tits/Teeth at Soho Theatre, Ghost Office and 'Colour of Clouds' at The Pleasance.

Leon Schwier
Leon Schwier, a diverse 19 year old actor who has just finished up a term at Aml Ameen's drama school ASA, attending the Professionals class for ten weeks. He is currently studying Drama with Film Studies at Kingston University but is determined to be an actor after making good progress since moving to London from Cambridge in 2010. You may recognise him as 'Jake' from Toby Clarke's 'D' which took place at Oval House last summer after Shereen Jasmin Phillips spotted him at Jimmy Akinbola's Monologueslam: The Ultimate Actors Showcase held at Richmix in East London whereby his talent for acting was evident. From here he hopes to find an agent and progress even further in the world of acting; learning, taking opportunities and forever staying humble.
Michael Salami
Born in America, raised in London. Michael discovered his passion in arts since the age of 11. Identity Drama School trained actor, Michael has been trained by well-known icons in the entertainment industry such as Femi Oguns and Che Walker to name a few. His recent theatre credits include '12' by Aml Ameen, Suffocation by Arinze Kene performed at Oval theatre, I Can See The Sea directed by Rachel Briscoe, Ken Saro Wiwa produced by Bola Agbaje, Love Strong by Stef O' Driscoll performed at Lyric Theatre, Laugh out Loud directed by Chris Loscher perfromed at SOHO theatre. Michael's favourite quote is "Some people see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not. Live the dream" and that excatly what Michael is doing, making his dreams a reality and believes 2012 is take over season.
